Very enjoyable

The location was outstanding, very close to the centre of a beautiful city. Our 'Superior' Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Exceptionally beautiful hotel that deserves its four-star rating.

Location was great and next to an excellent restaurant. Staff was exceptional. Breakfast room especially beautiful and the breakfast was very good.

The bed was hard the temperature was hard to adjust.

Lovely stay in lovely small hotel in lovely location.

Location excellent for rail station and the principal sights. The staff were helpful and kind. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Our room was with walk in shower as we requested and had the benefit of a small private ground floor terrace

Everything surpassed our expectations.

A gem in the middle of Florence.

The staff were amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, unfailingly cheerful. Nothing was a bother. The staff make this place! Breakfast offered a something for everyone, including decent coffee to start off the day! Centrally location is perfect and the view of the Church of Santa Maria Novella from my window was like seeing a postcard come to life. Five minutes from the train station. Everywhere is in walking distance. Easy to get around. The tram is even closer than the train and only costs €1.70 to get from the airport to the Unita stop. The hotel is a three minute stroll away. Perfect! Lots of great places to eat. And the close by Pam supermarket had sandwiches and salad for those days I wanted easy. Awesome spot!

The lack of sound proofing, although as this is a very old building, it is to be expected. It is not do much from other rooms (some things you just don't need to hear)or people walking on tiled floors but somewhere near my room there was a compressor (I think) that kept going off every few minutes. It was not so bad during the day but was not good at night and interrupted sleep. Yes I could have asked to be moved but as soundproofing was lacking (as is to be expected - it is a very old building), it may not have been better somewhere else. And the view is spectacular!) I would definitely stay again but would discuss the compressor noise when making a booking.

Short stay in Florence, not long enough, could easily spend a week here.

Its location. Close to the train station and close to the historical centre of Florence. Nice hotel, staff great.

Not much to dislike. Pretty happy with this hotel.

What was the highlight of Hotel Palazzo dal Borgo Firenze

I would highly recommend this hotel.

The property itself was an old building with beautiful stairways and other architectural features. My favorite spot was in the library where we had breakfast and looked at the lovely orange tree. But more than the hotel itself we loved the staff. From the front desk to the breakfast room they were all so kind and helpful. My husband would say they were his favorite part of our stay. For us, the location couldn’t have been more perfect. The street was quiet as was our room and we felt very safe. Nothing was more than a 15-20 minute walk away and we loved our leisurely walks without public transportation.

Our shower was a bit small and the doors were difficult but it was a very small thing. We were in a triple and the separate bed/lounger wasn’t terribly comfortable but with all that walking, sleep wasn’t a challenge.

Great staff and very clean. Location not great

The staff are amazing and the hotel looks beautiful. Great bathroom and very clean

The walls are paper thin and first night I could barely sleep because I could hear people walking in the hallway. Location could have been better. The old city is very small so I’d rather have stayed nearer to duomo or Santa Croce

Great breakfast and staff. Room to be desired

Fantastic breakfast with beautiful atrium area to enjoy while eating. Nice bar area.

No wash cloths. Room a little warm with no way to make cooler and seemed like no air was circulating. Staff very nice and helpful. Couldn’t use blow dryer even with outlet converter. Dryer smelled like it was burning.

30th wedding anniversary - special

The location to the main town, the staff were lovely, breakfast superb, and the room was comfortable and had a large bed.

They did not automatically refresh the coffee, no milk or cream, didn't take away, used cups.

Very comfortable accomodation close to city centar.

Hotel is close to all the tourist attractions and just 5 min walk from the airport tram and train station & it was an easy walk with the suitcase. My room was on the ground floor with a small balcony that was cordoned from the hotel's bar and breakfast garden. Room felt slightly run down for a four star hotel. However, bed was comfortable and bathroom was big and well designed. If you forgot some of your cleaning staff they has little packets in the bathroom of all you may need. Breakfast was great served in their garden area which was very pleasant. Staff was helpful and service was good.

Room looked run down but it was comfortable. It had a coffee maker and fridge as well as a small desk.

It was fantastic!

Checkin was easy, beautiful room, very helpful and courteous staff, amazingly quiet room considering the fun nightlife right outside, nice views of nearby churches.

There was no access to the garden because of repairs or something.
